Rabiot tells Man Utd and Chelsea his plans for 2024
Adrien Rabiot has revealed his transfer plans for 2024 as Manchester United and Chelsea continue to monitor his contract situation.
Rabiot’s contract at Juventus expires at the end of the current season, and he is yet to open talks over a renewal.
This will be the second year in a row that his contract is due to expire, with Rabiot extending his contract just days before it was set to run out at the end of June this year.

What did Rabiot say?
“We will see what happens but I’m very happy with my situation at Juventus and France, that’s crucial,” Rabiot told Telefoot.
“I decided to stay last summer as I feel very good at Juventus, it was also key for the Euros”, told Telefoot.
Manchester United and Chelsea were both interested in signing Rabiot on a free transfer going into the summer transfer market this year.
United in particular were close to signing the Frenchman. United had been in discussions with his mother and agent Veronique.
The chances of Rabiot staying at Juventus appeared to be slim as the days ticked down to his June 30 contract expiry.
Juventus had been in talks with Rabiot over a new deal for a few months but discussions were halted when the Bianconeri were handed a final 10-point penalty which saw them fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Rabiot had made it clear that he would only stay at Juventus if they qualified for the Champions League. The points deduction meant that Juve finished seventh and they were eventually banned from Europe altogether.
But the midfielder chose to stay, despite rival interest from Chelsea.
Both Man Utd and Chelsea are still interested in Rabiot, according to reports, ahead of next summer.
Last season he enjoyed the best season of his career with 11 goals.
He has had a slower start to the 2023-24 campaign, although he has found the net once and got two assists.
