'Frustrated' Arsenal outcast looking for the exit

Thomas Partey will look to head for the exit door if his current role at Arsenal continues, according to a report.
Once a favourite of Mikel Arteta, Partey has seen his game time diminish drastically in recent times. The midfielder had been deployed as a right-back to start the season and predictably struggled.
Since returning from yet another injury, the Ghanaian veteran has often been on the outside looking in, something that his camp do not appreciate, according to 90min. Indeed, it is claimed that Partey will consider his Arsenal future unless things improve for him.

Perhaps the 30-year-old now regrets not pushing for a move in the summer. Heavily linked with Juventus and Saudi clubs, Arsenal were keen to retain his services unless interested parties showed themselves willing to match the Gunners' steep asking price.
Mikel Arteta assured Partey and the media that the record signing of Declan Rice wouldn't influence the Ghanaian's role in the team and that the two could play together, but it is clear that there wasn't much truth to that.
Partey to move?
According to the above-mentioned report, Partey is willing to fight for his place, but this is evidently him fighting a losing battle. He won't displace Rice and the recurring injury issues at his age make him an unattractive asset.
It would be in Partey's and the club's interest to strike a January deal before his value depreciates too much. Juventus were recently linked with the midfielder again due to Paul Pogba's doping scandal. The Frenchman's B sample has confirmed the initial results and he now faces a substantial ban.

The Bianconeri could turn to Partey again in the winter, while Saudi clubs will also surely come knocking again. It will ultimately depend on Arsenal. If they set an unrealistic asking price again, he may just be forced to rot on the bench until the summer.
