Inter reveal stance on signing Chelsea star
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has shut down rumours that Chelsea star Armando Broja could join the club.
Broja, 22, has started Chelsea’s past two Premier League games following his return to full fitness, but the Albanian has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent days.
The 22-year-old was the subject of transfer interest during the summer, but Chelsea resisted approaches from Premier League teams in favour of keeping Broja at the club.

Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Inter are considering making a move for Broja in January and believe that Chelsea could be persuaded to sanction a sale.
However, that report has now been shut down by Ausilio, who told Albanian journalists whilst at an Albanian FA ceremony, as per SempreInter: “No, I’m sorry, but it’s not true [links with Broja] because we’re happy with the forwards we have.
“I know Broja, and I know that he’s recovering from a serious injury, and also that he also scored a goal recently.

“I hope that he can play a big part for the national team starting Thursday, but as far as joining Inter, there’s no chance.”
Inter currently have Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Alexis Sanchez and Marko Arnautovic as forward options, although the latter is injured.
On the other hand, Broja is one of only two recognised first-team strikers at Chelsea alongside Nicolas Jackson.
What else did Ausilio say?
Ausilio also spoke about Broja’s international team-mate Kristjan Asllani, who joined Inter from Empoli on a permanent deal this summer.
“We signed Asllani because we consider him a player good enough to play for Inter,” he said.
“Even if he’s young and has relatively little experience. Like all young players he needs time. We believe in him, including the coach.”
“In the last transfer window we sold [Marcelo] Brozovic, in order to give him more opportunities. We also have [Hakan] Calhanoglu in that position,” Ausilio concluded.
