The Premier League has seen some memorable victories since its inception in 1992, with several eye-catching scorelines over the years.

While many games in the English top flight are hard-fought and tightly-contested, there are some instances where that simply isn’t the case and one team runs riot.

What is the biggest Premier League win of all-time?

The biggest win in Premier League history is by a 9-0 scoreline, which has happened on four occasions in history.

Manchester United (x2), Liverpool and Leicester City have all achieved the feat, with all three teams scoring nine goals in one game whilst conceding none.

Man Utd first won 9-0 against Ipswich Town back in 1995, and they held the outright lead for the largest Premier League winning margin for 14 years until Leicester City thrashed Southampton 9-0 in 2019.

Southampton then lost 9-0 again to Man Utd less than two years later. Both of Southampton’s defeats weren’t helped by early red cards, however.

Against Leicester, Ryan Bertrand was sent off in the 12th minute, while Alexandre Jankewitz was shown a red card two minutes into the loss versus Man Utd. Jan Bednarek was also sent off in the 86th minute at Old Trafford.

Liverpool entered the list thanks to their 9-0 win over Bournemouth in August 2022. That loss cost Scott Parker his job as Cherries head coach.
