Arsenal and Chelsea worried by No.9 target's Real Madrid comments
Santiago Gimenez has revealed that he would relish the chance to play for Real Madrid.
The Mexican striker is the current flavour of the month. Gimenez is on an absolute tear in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord and, in truth, he has been for the entirety of this calendar year.
In seven Dutch top-flight games this term, Gimenez has found the back of the net 10 times while also recording two assists. He scored twice in the heated derby with Ajax and set up the goal that caused the game to be suspended - and then he scored again to complete his hattrick when the match was continued a few days later behind closed doors.

The 22-year-old fired Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last term and his great form is now earning him links to some of Europe's biggest hitters. Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all keeping a keen eye on the €50 million rated striker with a view to potentially making a move as early as this January.
Real hint?
Prior to Feyenoord's exhilarating 3-2 Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid - which Gimenez missed due to a suspension - the striker sensation was asked by El Chiringuito's Elisa Lasso about his thoughts on potentially joining Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old refused to make any grand proclamations, but he did say: "Obviously, it is a big club." Los Blancos are in the market for a number nine as summer signing Joselu has been just what many expected him to be: solid but unspectacular.

Arsenal, too, are looking to add firepower to their squad, while Chelsea face a similar issue to Real Madrid with Nicolas Jackson. He has worked his socks off, but his goalscoring has left a lot to be desired thus far. It will be a mighty old transfer battle to secure Gimenez's services.
