Wonderkid is ‘already ready’ for Chelsea or Arsenal
Sandi Lovric says that national teammate Benjamin Sesko is “already ready for the highest stage” amidst interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and AC Milan.
The 20-year-old striker is considered as one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe and this summer moved to Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg.
Udinese midfielder Lovric is an international teammate of Sesko, with the two stars playing together for the Slovenia national team.

And Lovric has no doubts that Sesko is already ready to play for the biggest of teams.
What did Lovric say about Sesko?
“Sesko is very, very good. The talent is massive. He is already ready for the highest stage,” Lovric told The Italian Football Podcast.

“His physics are incredible. He is tall, he is fast. I’m happy for him and I can’t wait to see how his development will go further.
“I hope he will stay in good health and continue like this.”
AC Milan, looking for a long-term successor to veteran Frenchman Olivier Giroud, are keeping a very close eye on Sesko’s situation at Leipzig and so are Arsenal and Chelsea, according to Calciomercato.
Indeed, speaking to Sportitalia, Sesko's agent Elvis Basanovic confirmed that he had been in talks with AC Milan before the Leipzig move.
"I can confirm that in the past when [Paolo] Maldini was there, I already spoke with Milan about Sesko. But at that moment, the transfer was not possible, it wasn't the right time."
"In the future, you never know. Milan is a great club. At the moment, Sesko feels very good at Leipzig where he is continuing his growth path."
Milan could make another approach in the summer of 2024 but Arsenal and Chelsea could be there too, as both are in the market for a star number nine.
Sesko and Lovric will be in action together on Monday when they play Kazakhstan in Euro 2024 qualifying. A draw will book Slovenia a place in the finals.
