Ronaldo to bring Man Utd superstar to Saudi Arabia
Cristiano Ronaldo could help bring Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes to Saudi Arabia next summer.
According to Rudy Galetti, the The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has begun taking “concrete steps” to sign Bruno from United in 2024.
Galetti reports that Fernandes is high up on the list of targets for the summer transfer window and PIF representatives are set to meet the player’s entourage to discuss a move.

CaughtOffside adds that Ronaldo can play a major part in convincing his former Man Utd and current Portugal teammate to move to Saudi Arabia.
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) - Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund - which is overseen by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, this year took over four of the biggest clubs in the kingdom. These are the Riyadh-based Al Nassr and Al Hilal, and the Jeddah-based Al Ittihad and Al Ahli.
Ronaldo, of course, plays for Al Nassr.

As a result these teams have a fortune to spend in the coming months and years. But many other teams are also splashing the cash.
In 2023 we have seen some of the biggest stars in world football move to Saudi Arabia for huge transfer fees and on massive salaries.
Ronaldo got the ball rolling by joining Al Nassr at the start of 2023 and he was joined in Saudi Arabia in the summer by the likes of Karim Benzema, Neymar, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson, to name just a selection.
Will Bruno be the next big star to move to Saudi Arabia?
He will turn 30 by the end of the season and so will be approaching a time of his career where he may be looking for one last payout.
With Man Utd looking as if they are far away from challenging for major trophies, the sporting reasons for staying at Old Trafford may not be as strong as first believed also.
