With the January transfer window approaching, Kylian Mbappe is once again a major talking point, with the PSG star still linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Following a Saturday report from Spain that Los Blancos are ready to offer the France star a lavish contract to secure his services, Real Madrid issued an official statement outlining their current stance on the player.

There was, however, a smart reason for them doing so for the 24-year-old, whose contract at PSG is up in June 2024.

Real Madrid’s €95m Mbappe alternative

Mbappe is not the only superstar that Real Madrid are taking an interest in.Reports from Germany indicate that they are readying themselves for the prospect of missing out on the France star and have lined up Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala as an alternative to the striker.
