It seemed inconceivable just a few weeks ago, but Juventus are now at serious risk of losing one of the biggest gems at the club. Wonderkid Kenan Yildiz was on top of the world when he scored his first senior goal for Turkey in Berlin against Germany, the country of his birth, but reality has now hit the 18-year-old like a ton of bricks.

Many thought his breakout performance against the Germans would kickstart his season, having thus far only made a handful of appearances for Juventus' first team. Since his outings with Turkey, however, the versatile attacker has not featured for the Bianconeri at all in Serie A.

According to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, Yildiz is disillusioned with his lack of minutes and is seriously considering his options for January - and Arsenal and Liverpool will certainly be attentive to this situation.

Yildiz a wanted man

That is because the youngster has been linked with both Premier League giants over the last week or so. Both Liverpool and Arsenal are looking for cover across the frontline and Yildiz, who can play as a striker, a second striker and a winger, certainly has a lot to offer.

Liverpool sporting director Jorg Schmadtke is still familiar with Yildiz from his time in charge of recruitment at Wolfsburg when the highly-rated then-Bayern youngster appeared on his radar. However, according to Plettenberg, teams from Germany are also in the mix for Yildiz, though he did not name names.

The reporter claims that "many teams inquired about him" and that it is a distinct possibility that he could leave the Old Lady permanently, rather than just on loan. Juventus, of course, are keen to keep hold of him and have scheduled talks for the coming days to clear the air.
