The Blues faced the Championship outfit in the FA Cup Third Round - and their striker was faced with a slew of criticism of his showing.

The 22-year-old secured his second consecutive start on Saturday evening but it did not go to plan.

With Nicolas Jackson gearing up for the Africa Cup of Nations, Broja has been handed an extended run in the team, providing him with a valuable opportunity to showcase his capabilities to manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Albanian star had a goal drought spanning 11 matches but still managed to find the back of the net against Preston.

But that was not enough for some fans, who felt he could have brought a lot more to the table, having missed the chance to put the game to bed.
