Barcelona Femeni generated the highest revenue of any club in women’s football throughout the 2023-24 season, according to Deloitte.

Barca Women made history by winning the quadruple last season, with the Blaugrana emerging victorious in the Women’s Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Spanish Super Cup.

The Deloitte Money League ranks the world’s richest women’s football clubs based on the annual revenue they generate and Barcelona Femeni lead the way once again in the third edition of the standings.

However, they sit joint-top alongside Arsenal Women, following an impressive year from the Gunners.

Arsenal have more than tripled their income from 2022-23 thanks to several fixtures taking place at the Emirates Stadium. Barcelona Femeni and Arsenal Women both generated €17.9m of revenue during the 2023-24 season.

Chelsea Women are third, after yet another WSL triumph under the now-departed Emma Hayes, while Man Utd Women are fourth as they continue to make strides forward.

Real Madrid Femenino (€10.5m), Man City Women (€7.9m), Aston Villa Women (€6.3m), Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen (€6m), Liverpool Women (€5.7m) and PSG Feminine (€4.6m) complete the top 10.

Eight of the top 15 clubs are from the WSL, with Tottenham Women and Everton Women also included in this list.

Naturally, with the women's game still struggling to secure adequate funding and promotion, this revenue is nothing compared with the eye-watering sums in the men's game, where Real Madrid led the way with an income of over €1 billion.
