The young central midfielder, who was previously with Chelsea, has been drumming up a storm at youth level, netting an impressive 16 goals for Spurs' Under-16s during his time there. Hall's progress continued as he transitioned to the Under-18s, making five appearances during the 2021/22 season while still attending school. His stellar performances led to him signing his first professional contract just three months later.

We are told Man City scouts were recently present at Broadhall Way to witness Tottenham's U21 clash against Aston Villa, where the North London side earned a 5-2 victory. Hall stood out in the encounter, contributing two assists for Spurs.

What type of player is Tyrese Hall?

A versatile player, Hall has showcased his capabilities across various positions, excelling as a box-to-box midfielder, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder - and even as a winger. Known for his exciting and skillful style of play, Hall possesses fine balance, vision for a forward pass, and exceptional creativity – attributes that align seamlessly with the Man City playing philosophy.

While we understand Spurs are keen to retain the youngster - though there are concerns that the allure of playing under the guidance of Guardiola at City could prove too enticing for the young talent to resist.
