Bukayo Saka has matched Arsenal greats Olivier Giroud and Ian Wright with his Newcastle goal.

The English winger starred for Arsenal as Mikel Arteta's men put Newcastle to the sword. The hapless Magpies were comfortably routed by the Gunners, with Saka scoring the third goal of the match, taking his tally for the season to 13 goals in 25 Premier League games.

All told, Saka has notched a brilliant 16 goals and 13 assists in all competitions this term, once again proving that he is one of Arteta's key men despite some hefty - and frankly unfair - criticism of him from some quarters. To put this production into perspective, the attacker has been involved in more goals than any other Premier League player in all competitions.

Still only 22, Saka is one of Europe's most devastating wingers and he hammered home this point with his strike against the Magpies. Running at Newcastle defender Tino Livramento, Saka initially appeared to be going down the right before cutting onto his stronger left foot and unleashing a shot into the bottom corner.

It was Saka's fifth consecutive Premier League goal, becoming the first Arsenal player to achieve this since Olivier Giroud did it in 2015 and, more interestingly, becoming the first Englishman to do it since Ian Wright all the way back in 1994. He's in good company.
