Thiago Silva's wife urges Chelsea to SACK Pochettino after Wolves defeat
Mauricio Pochettino’s time as Chelsea head coach could be coming to an end, with supporters desperate for him to be sacked following their 4-2 defeat against Wolves.
The Blues had won seven of their previous 10 games in all competitions before their trip to Anfield in midweek, but a resounding 3-1 loss versus Jurgen Klopp’s men reignited talk of an exit and speculation has increased after yet another poor performance.
Chelsea’s home form had actually been rather impressive before the defeat against Wolves, but things came crashing down as Pochettino’s side failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.
The result means Wolves have won both league games against Chelsea in a single season for the first time since 1974-75, while it was their first win away to the Blues since 1979.
Chelsea fans have taken to social media to vent their frustration at Pochettino, with his tactics and player selection both questioned. The owners have also taken a beating online, as many supporters believe their transfer strategy has backfired massively.
Thiago Silva scored a late consolation goal during the defeat and his wife believes that Pochettino must be sacked.
Mauricio Pochettino to be sacked by Chelsea?
Belle Silva is an active presence online and before her husband scored, she posted on X: “It’s time to change. If you wait any longer it will be too late,” insinuating that Pochettino needs to be fired.

Cole Palmer had opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 19th minute, but his goal was soon cancelled out by a deflected Matheus Cunha effort just three minutes later.
Wolves then took the lead before half-time, courtesy of an Axel Disasi own goal, before Cunha made it 3-1 in the 63rd minute after neat work from Pedro Neto. The Brazilian completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after a rash challenge from Malo Gusto, who was poor on the day.
Chelsea travel to Villa Park to face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa in an FA Cup fourth round replay on Wednesday, but it remains to be seen if Pochettino will still be in charge.
