Liverpool have to TREBLE their bid for Mudryk's mate - Romano
Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Georgiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has outlined how much it would cost to sign him.
Liverpool might have something of a rebuild on their hands this summer after Jurgen Klopp announced he was leaving the club at the end of the campaign. Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso has emerged as the early frontrunner to replace him.
This season could also be Mohamed Salah's last, with the Saudi Pro League keen to make the 32-year-old 'Egyptian King' the next face of their project after Cristiano Ronaldo.

Attacking midfielder Sudakov has been identified as a top summer transfer target - although it is understood Liverpool will face fierce competition from Real Madrid - but a previous bid of €40 million will have to be increased significantly.
"Yes there is a release clause included in his new deal," Romano said on his Here We Go podcast. "Georgiy Sudakov, who is a very special talent, Shakhtar keep producing interesting players after Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Sudakov's €150m release clause
"And in the contract of Sudakov, the release clause is already valid in the summer, so starting from June, and is available for €150m.
"I can tell you that in the January transfer window two clubs wanted to sign Sudakov, a club arrived to offer around €35-40m - Shakhtar said 'no.'"

Suudakov may only be valued at €14.8m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, but Shakhtar have a fine recent record of extracting maximum value for their players, with Mudryk a case in point.
The Chelsea winger is only valued at €22.5m by FootballTransfers, but Shakhtar got €70m for him in January 2023, with another €30m to follow depending on add-ons.
With six goals and five assists in his 46 appearances since, the jury is out on whether Mudryk will prove worth it in the long run.
