Arsenal and Chelsea told Newcastle stance on Isak transfer
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has insisted that star striker Alexander Isak is not for sale.
The Swedish forward has been in brilliant form of late, netting four goals and an assist in his last three Premier League outings for the Magpies. In a difficult game against West Ham at the weekend, Isak kept his nerves twice from the penalty spot to play a crucial role in Newcastle's epic 4-3 victory.
All told, the 24-year-old has netted an impressive 18 goals across all competitions this season and this has reignited speculation over his future. Newcastle are struggling to conform with Financial Fair Play regulations and there have been suggestions that Isak could be one of several key players to be sold in the summer.

The striker would certainly have no shortage of suitors, with Arsenal and Chelsea frequently credited with an interest in the Swede in recent months, though he wouldn't be a priority signing for either, with the Gunners targeting Viktor Gyokeres and the Blues still keen on Victor Osimhen.
Howe issues hands-off warning
Now, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has addressed the transfer speculation surrounding his star striker, who arrived for a whopping €70 million in 2022. "He’s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him," Howe said ahead of the Magpies' clash with Everton on Tuesday.
"I thought he was excellent against West Ham. He didn’t score in open play but his two penalties were outstanding and his general play was very good. His link play, his athleticism, he looked in a really good place."

Isak himself recently spoke about the persistent transfer rumours, telling Expressen: “It doesn't affect me that much. It has been talked about many times, in many windows. I see it as just such a thing. Everyone knows that summer is coming and if things show up, things can happen, but I actually haven't even thought about it.”
