Arsenal list two Premier League stars as targets as owners back Arteta for summer spree
Arsenal has set their sights on Newcastle's star striker Alexander Isak as well as Crystal Palace’s Micheael Olise, according to reports.
The Guardian have stated that the Gunners’ owners will back Mikel Arteta in the market. One of the names being considered is Isak, who could command a hefty fee of around £100 million.
The Sweden international was closely monitored by Arsenal before his move to St James' Park in August 2022 for an initial £63m. The club are also keen on Viktor Gyokeres, as first revealed by FootballTransfers.

The forward has netted 36 goals this season with Sporting CP and is believed to have a £86m buyout clause. Another name included is Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus but any interest in Brentford's Ivan Toney seems to have waned.
Olise was almost signed by Chelsea last summer, signing a new four-year with Palace. The French Under-21 forward's contract includes a release clause likely around £65m, with Manchester United also keen.
Edu, Arsenal’s sporting director, expected to receive a budget akin to the previous year, meaning that the club can expect a large kitty for the forthcoming window. The club’s owners, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE), is likely to give the club a huge boost in finances to strengthen the side ahead of the following campaign.

Arsenal lost successive games, with a defeat against Aston Villa in the Premier League and a Champions League exit to Bayern, meaning that their chance of silverware this season relies on Manchester City slipping up.
Martin Odegaard spoke about the slum in form ahead of the club’s game against Wolves: “It takes a little bit to get going again, but I think what you play for in the league is enough motivation for all of us,” Ødegaard said. “So we just have to stick together, get back up and keep pushing. We can still do something very special. I think that is enough motivation.”
