Romano provides 'DEFINITIVE' Arsenal transfer update
Fabrizio Romano has provided a 'definitive' update on Gabriel Jesus' Arsenal future.
The Brazilian forward has been the subject of some intriguing transfer speculation in recent days. Due to Arsenal's hunt for a new number nine, Jesus' future has been thrown into doubt, with the 27-year-old not being particularly prolific in recent times.
The signing of Viktor Gyokeres appears to be just a matter of time for the Gunners, who view the Swedish striker as their top target for the summer, as revealed by FootballTransfers. We have also been able to reveal that the Sporting CP sharpshooter would be open to the move.

What, then, does the future hold for Jesus? According to Fabrizio Romano, the striker's future won't be influenced by the acquisition of a new goalscorer. Despite this, Italian media has been reporting that Juventus are keenly monitoring Jesus' situation.
Now, Romano has provided a fresh update on the situation in what is being described as a 'definitive' statement on the matter.
Romano on Jesus Part 2: Electric Boogaloo
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian transfer expert once again dismissed the speculation surrounding Jesus' future. "I’m not aware of anything between Juventus and Gabriel Jesus, to be honest. Zero information on discussions or contacts as things stand," Romano said.
“Gabriel is really focused on Arsenal and he’s not planning to leave the club at this stage. The situation remains very quiet, and of course, he wants to do his best for the club.”

The 27-year-old has scored just four goals in the Premier League this season. It hasn't impeded Arsenal's title challenge, but it is certainly a concern especially when you also take into account his fitness problems. All told, Jesus has notched a measly eight goals and six assists in 29 outings this term.
