Riccardo Calafiori (Bologna)

Riccardo Calafiori was Italy’s best player at Euro 2024 and his form at the tournament has intensified links with a Bologna exit.

The 22-year-old is wanted by Chelsea and Juventus, but Arsenal are also interested in a move as they look to bolster Mikel Arteta’s backline.

Nico Williams (Athletic Club)

Nico Williams has been linked with a move to Arsenal for several months and the Gunners remain keen, despite the presence of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

Williams is one of the most exciting youngsters in world football, as proven by his form at Euro 2024, and Arsenal are currently assessing whether or not to activate his €50 million release clause at Athletic Club.

Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth)

Milos Kerkez is one of Arsenal’s left-back targets as they look to bolster their defensive options.

The Hungary international only joined Bournemouth last summer, however he has enjoyed a productive first Premier League campaign and FootballTransfers understands that he is wanted by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Joan Garcia (Espanyol)

Aaron Ramsdale could leave Arsenal this summer after being demoted to second-choice last season and The Athletic have reported that Joan Garcia could be his replacement.

The 23-year-old is currently Espanyol’s back-up goalkeeper and the Gunners may pursue a move if Ramsdale departs.

Jorrel Hato (Ajax)

According to multiple reports, Arsenal have identified Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato as a key transfer target as they look to bolster their defence.

However, a move has been deemed unlikely to happen unless Jakub Kiwior is sold this summer.

Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad)

Martin Zubimendi is seen as the ideal defensive midfielder by Arteta, as per reports, and he has been touted for a move to Arsenal for several months.

Bayern Munich’s failure to bring in Xabi Alonso as head coach has also weakened their position in the race to sign the Spaniard, meaning Arsenal may have a free run at him this summer.

However, he remains happy at Real Sociedad and an exit won’t happen unless Arsenal make a real concerted effort to sign him.

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern)

FootballTransfers understands that Bayern Munich superstar Joshua Kimmich is the subject of Arsenal’s interest and he is regarded as a concrete target by the Gunners.

He has recently hinted at a possible Bayern departure and Arsenal are expected to ramp up potential negotiations now that the 2023-24 campaign has ended.

Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting)

Sporting CP goal machine Viktor Gyokeres is one of Arsenal's top targets for the number nine position, though the interest has cooled somewhat in recent weeks.

The Sweden international could cost up to €100m, however, which means a deal is currently tricky.

Gyokeres notched more than half a century of goal contributions in the bygone season and is regarded as one of the current best strikers in world football.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Fenerbahce)

FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Ferdi Kadioglu in action for Turkey at Euro 2024 as they eye a possible move.

The Gunners have been linked with a deal for the Fenerbahce star over the past few months and they could push to sign him in the next few weeks.

Ivan Toney (Brentford)

Ivan Toney has been perennially linked with a Brentford exit and Arsenal has been labelled as his most likely destination for some time.

However, a move appears slightly unlikely and the Gunners will be forced to fork out a fair chunk of money to sign him.
