EXCLUSIVE: Ambitious Arsenal ready to SMASH transfer record
Arsenal's much-anticipated on-field project is set for completion by the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season thanks to another record spend in the summer transfer market, FootballTransfers has been told.
Inside sources have confirmed the club's dedication to building a squad capable of rivalling Europe's finest.
Led by Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar, the team has spent the last three years meticulously crafting a competitive roster aimed at securing Premier League and Champions League glory for years to come.
The Gunners are getting close. Arsenal remain firmly in the hunt for the league title, despite a setback against Aston Villa in their last outing, while they were narrowly eliminated from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

With an exciting summer transfer window on the horizon, Football Transfers has learned that Arsenal are set to smash last season’s activity at the Emirates, which will include the arrival of three or four marquee signings.
The Gunners’ Champions League run to the last eight means they stand to benefit significantly on a financial basis, with Uefa’s prize money set to bolster the club’s transfer budget by approximately €92.5 (£79m).
Coupled with Premier League price money and expected player sales, such as Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Thomas Partey, Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares and Emile Smith Rowe, Arsenal are poised to replicate at the very least last season's investment in new talent.

The Gunners had a record transfer spend in the summer of 2023, with more than €230m splashed out on new talent.
Declan Rice headlined this list of four new additions, arriving from West Ham for a club-record fee of €117m. Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber also arrived at €75m and €40m respectively, with David Raya joining up from Brentford on loan with an option to buy set at €31.2m.
Arsenal fans can expect an even greater investment this time around, with Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres the leading summer transfer priority for Arteta’s club.
