‘Money-grabbing w***er’ to start for Man Utd against Chelsea
Mason Mount could make his first start for Manchester United in five months on Thursday - against former team Chelsea.
Mount endured an acrimonious exit from Stamford Bridge last summer, an exit that has not gone down well with Blues fans.
Mount has been accused by Chelsea fans of joining Manchester United for financial reasons.
Mount had been in extended contract renewal talks with Chelsea last year but they broke down as the midfielder was reportedly unhappy with the wages he was offered.
He eventually signed for United last summer in a €65 million deal on a contract until 2028 for a massive £13m a year.

He was infamously insulted with chants by Blues supporters calling him a “money-grabbing w***er” during Man Utd’s win over Chelsea at Old Trafford in December.
And Mount could now face those fans head-on in Thursday’s Premier League match between United and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that Mount could make his first start for United in five months.
Mount came off the bench to score in an impressive cameo during the 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday.
This could be enough to earn him a start on Thursday, although he will certainly be in for lots of abuse from his old fans.
Mount has been a huge flop at United since his move last summer.
Until Saturday, he had no goals or assists in the Premier League and has suffered from numerous injury problems.

Mount also appears incompatible with Bruno Fernandes in the same United team, and there are reports he is unsettled living in the north having grown up down south.
This has led to some claims that United will look to offload Mount at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old grew up in the Chelsea academy and spent 18 years at the club before departing for United.
In total, he made 195 appearances for the club and scored 33 goals. He played a key role in the Champions League victory in 2021 and also won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
