EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd target Brazilian midfield duo Andre and Joao Gomes
Manchester United have made a return to Andre while the club have also sounded out a move for Joao Gomes, FootballTransfers has been told.
The Red Devils have not yet offered a proposal for either player, but we understand that the Brazilian pair are concrete summer targets.
We can also report that Arsenal have not made any direct contact with Wolves midfielder Gomes despite recent reports in Portugal.
FootballTransfers previously revealed that Gary O'Neil's side won't entertain offers below £40 million (€47m) for the 23-year-old. We are told that Gomes could be allowed to exit Molineux for above €50m this summer, but a lot will depend on whether the club receive an offer for Pedro Neto first.

The Portuguese winger is a top target for Arsenal, while Liverpool have also been linked with him. It is expected that Neto will leave the West Midlands club in what could be a painful summer window, with Wolves having to shed talent in a bid to balance the books.
O'Neil recently bemoaned that his club were unable to strengthen their squad in January due to severe financial restrictions. "We warned [the owners] if we lost a few attacking players it would make a big difference. We flagged the situation at the time but the club weren't in a position to act on it or help us," the coach said.
Man Utd back in for Andre
As mentioned, we can also reveal that Man Utd are again targeting Andre. FootballTransfers exclusively revealed last year that the Red Devils were eyeing Andre as a possible replacement for Casemiro.
Now the Premier League giants have come back in for the Fluminense star and there is a feeling among sources that a move for the Brazil international stands more of a chance than them buying Gomes.

We are told that a proposal of just €30m could ultimately be enough to sign Andre, though the Serie A side will initially try to play hardball and ask for somewhere between €35m-€40m.
