Liverpool legend makes HUGE Mourinho claim
Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann believes that Jose Mourinho would make a great Bayern Munich coach.
The Portuguese legend has been out of a job since getting sacked by Serie A giants Roma in January. Speculation surrounding Mourinho's future has been rampant with links to Saudi Arabia and even Newcastle frequently cropping up.
The 61-year-old has done little to dispel the rumours. On the contrary, he recently fuelled the speculation while speaking to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, insisting that he has twice turned down the chance to become head coach of Portugal and that he is ready for a new challenge.

“I’m ready to start again," Mourinho said. "I don’t need to rest or think as usually happens... I’m ready. I feel strong and good, I’m really ready. But I don’t want to make the wrong choice. I have to be patient. My objective is to start again next summer.”
The expectation is that Mourinho will head to the Middle East after previously stating that he will one day work in Saudi Arabia, but if it were up to Liverpool legend Didi Hamann, the 61-year-old should be in charge of one of Europe's biggest teams.
Mourinho to Bayern?
Two of Hamann's former clubs, Liverpool and Bayern, are currently searching for a new head coach and the ex-midfielder believes that Mourinho would be perfect for the latter.
While discussing Bayern's next coach in the wake of the Bavarians' embarrassing 2-0 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund, Hamann threw the Portuguese's name in the ring, telling Sky90: "There are many on the market, but I'm thinking of Mourinho. You can think what you want of him, but at Chelsea the players adored him. From a professional point of view, he is exceptional.”

However, according to Sky Germany, the chances of this actually happening are very slim indeed. Bayern are not seriously considering the Chelsea legend, instead focusing on German national team boss Julian Nagelsmann and Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi.
