Liverpool enter race for two Ruben Amorim favourites
Liverpool have reportedly shortlisted two Sporting players ahead of the summer transfer window.
Football Insider's Pete O’Rourke is reporting that The Reds are interested in Goncalo Inacio and Marcus Edwards.
Inacio is a young defender that has caught the attention of many of Europe's top clubs this season.

He and Benfica's Antonio Silva are viewed as two of the Primeira Liga's top centre-backs, and both are expected to leave this summer.
Meanwhile, Marcus Edwards, who came through Tottenham's academy, has been likened to Lionel Messi in his style of play.
With his close control and ability to go past defenders, the Englishman would provide Liverpool with a different attacking option.
Amorim to Liverpool?
Liverpool are closing in on Ruben Amorim, but Chelsea have also enquired about him, according to a report.
The Sporting CP boss has become Europe's most in-demand coach after Xabi Alonso's announcement that he will stay at Bayer Leverkusen for at least another season.
Liverpool and Barcelona have been said to be heavily pushing for the 39-year-old tactician and Amorim himself previously did little to banish the persistent speculation surrounding his future.

The Portuguese recently admitted that he can't guarantee that he will be in charge of Sporting next season and it seems that talks with Liverpool are now reaching a decisive phase. According to Portuguese media, the Reds have offered Amorim a three-year contract.
And, Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg reported that the 39-year-old is keen on joining Liverpool and that only the final details still need to be ironed out before it can be called a done deal.
