Man Utd to sell Antony AT A LOSS with replacement lined up
Manchester United are ready to cut their losses on the underperforming Antony, with his replacement on the right wing already lined up.
There was plenty of excitement about Antony when he arrived from Ajax for some €95 million in August 2022, and goals against Arsenal, Manchester City and Barcelona in his first season augured well.
But the Brazilian has failed to score in 25 Premier League outings this season, and in recent weeks has been dropped to the bench with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho starting in the wide areas.

And United, with the coming Sir Jim Ratcliffe era, are ready to cash in on a player who now has more 360 degree turns than goal contributions.

"Man Utd are planning to sell Antony in the summer for an 'acceptable' amount, trying to maximize the sale and save his big salary (£6m/y until 2027)," transfer journalist Rudy Galetti posted on X (formerly Twitter) before turning to his potential replacement.
"Micheal Olise remains at the top of the list to replace the Brazilian winger, but also other names are monitored by #MUFC."

Olise in, Antony out at United
As revealed exclusively by FootballTransfers' Jacque Talbot last month, United are indeed in the market for Olise, as well as Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.
Olise has a release clause of £60m (€70m) in his current Crystal Palace contract, and United will hope to raise at least half of that with Antony's sale. The Brazilian is currently valued at €32.9m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm.
Olise, also a left-footed right winger, six goals and three assists from 12 Premier League games with Palacde this season.
AC Milan and Chelsea are among the clubs who were previously interested in Antony, although more recent speculation has linked him with a loan move to Turkey or back to the Netherlands.
