Man Utd's Bremer boost: Juventus line up Liverpool target as replacement
Juventus are lining up Maxence Lacroix as a potential replacement for in-demand defender Bremer, according to Italian media.
The Bianconeri are bracing themselves for the exit of their star centre-back. Bremer has become one of Europe's most sought-after defenders in recent seasons and Man Utd continue to be heavily linked with the Brazilian despite a recent report claiming that he would not be among their top targets come the summer.
The Red Devils are in the market for defensive reinforcements and have earmarked several highly-rated centre-backs, including Jarrad Branthwaite - the top target - and Jean-Clair Todibo. Bremer is certainly appreciated but it is not clear whether Man Utd will be prepared to shell out €60 million on the 27-year-old.

Nevertheless, Juventus are beginning to plan for life after Bremer, with Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix now joining Ousmane Diomande on their list of potential replacements.
Juve want Lacroix
At least that's according to Calciomercato, which reports that the Frenchman, who is also admired by AC Milan, has become a concrete target for the Old Lady. Lacroix is keen on getting a belated big move after making the mistake of remaining with Wolfsburg off the back of a breakout season.
After failing to capitalise on his stocks being at an all-time high, his performance levels subsequently dropped and so did the interest in his services. This term, however, Lacroix has certainly been improved and this has once again attracted the attention of elite sides.

The 23-year-old is said to have Premier League admirers and was even linked with Liverpool ahead of the January window. Lacroix would be a much cheaper and more attainable option for Juventus than Diomande, who is also a target for significantly more affluent sides like Arsenal and Chelsea.
