The 26-year-old has received major criticism for his performances so far this season and FootballTransfers understands that Man Utd are open to selling Rashford if the right offer arrives this summer.

Furthermore, according to The Telegraph, only three players in the Red Devils squad are considered untouchable - Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund - with the club willing to listen to offers for every other player.

Rashford has been linked with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain, as Kylian Mbappe’s replacement, while Arsenal has also been touted as a potential destination for the England star.

However, he is reportedly unlikely to move to north London this summer.

What has been said about Marcus Rashford?

Arsenal journalist Charles Watts told CaughtOffside: “Rashford’s name seems to pop up now again on social media in connection with Arsenal. There’s not really been any links in terms of a transfer, but it seems to be a talking point amongst fans from time to time.

“We’ll have to wait and see if his future lies away from Old Trafford, but if he does go, I don’t see Arsenal as a possible destination. He’s on big wages and I just don’t see Arsenal going near them. A forward who can play out wide is certainly a priority for Arsenal, but I don’t see that being Rashford.

“Arteta has shown with the job he has done turning Kai Havertz around that he can revitalise careers that had seemingly started to stagnate and I have no doubt he could probably do that with someone like Rashford as well. But having said that, I just don’t see Rashford being worth the gamble.”

Rashford has seven goals and two assists in 31 Premier League appearances this season, and his current contract at Old Trafford runs until 2028 after he signed a new deal last summer.
