Romano tells Liverpool & Man Utd what they must do to sign Marc Guehi
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Marc Guehi will be 'one to watch' in the summer.
The towering Crystal Palace centre-back has become one of the Premier League's most accomplished defenders since leaving Chelsea. In addition to earning himself call-ups to the senior England team, Guehi has also attracted the attention of some of the country's biggest sides.
It is thought that Man Utd and Liverpool are both very keen on the 23-year-old, while Newcastle United have recently also been linked with Guehi again. The Magpies previously held an interest in the centre-back, with sporting director Dan Ashworth said to be a big admirer of him.

Ashworth, of course, appears to be on his way to Old Trafford and could look to sign Guehi for the Red Devils. Liverpool, meanwhile, have been in the market for a young centre-back for some time, with the Palace man potentially a brilliant option.
Chelsea have also at times been tentatively linked with their former academy product, but it is believed that they do not have a buy-back option. They do, however, have the ability to match any bids that come in for him.
'Important proposal' needed
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Guehi is a sought-after commodity, but it won't be easy to prise him away from Palace despite recent reports claiming that the Eagles have already resigned themselves to losing him.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian transfer expert insisted that Palace will only settle for 'important' offers. "Palace will consider only important proposals, not normal ones, for Marc Guehi and any other star players. It certainly won’t be easy to sign players from them.

“At this stage, I’m not aware of negotiations for Guehi so far with any club, but his name has been on the lists of multiple clubs for a long time so could be one to watch in the summer surely.”
