Glasner reunion at Crystal Palace is GREAT news for Man Utd & Liverpool
Crystal Palace are interested in Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix, according to a report.
Oliver Glasner's start to life as the new Eagles boss has been successful and his first transfer window is set to be a big but not necessarily entirely positive one. Several of Crystal Palace's star players are being eyed by the Premier League's biggest hitters. One of the players in question is Marc Guehi.
The defender has established himself as one of the division's best centre-backs since leaving Chelsea and has even become a senior English international. This has, naturally, aroused the attention of elite clubs, and the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd are said to be keen on the 23-year-old.

With his contract up in 2026 and the player seemingly being unwilling to pen a new deal, Palace will need to cash in on him sooner rather than later and the expectation is that he will be on the move this summer. Palace has been scouring Europe for a replacement for some time and their latest target is a familiar face to Glasner.
Palace want Lacroix
According to The Telegraph, Palace are 'set to join the race' for Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix, who is expected to leave the Volkswagen-backed side this summer. The Frenchman's deal is up next year and he is keen on a new challenge.
Lacroix was signed by the Wolves during Glasner's time at the club and it was the Austrian who managed to get the best out of him, with the defender eventually attracting Premier League attention. Unlike Glasner, however, Lacroix did not leave and his form subsequently dipped.

This term, though, he has been much-improved and was even linked with Liverpool in the winter in the wake of Joel Matip's ACL injury. On his day, Lacroix is one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga and given how well he did under Glasner, it's certainly fair to assume that he would be an adequate replacement for Guehi.
