The Barcelona wonderkid has really burst onto the scene in recent weeks despite having yet to make his senior debut for the club. In lieu of a first-team bow for the Blaugrana, the teenager has already played for Senegal and scored an absolute howitzer.

A host of clubs have taken a keen interest in the highly-rated centre-back, whom Barcelona plucked from the Croatian lower leagues in the summer, reportedly beating Chelsea to his signature. The Blues, according to Calciomercato, are still admirers of the youngster.

But it's not just Chelsea. Man Utd and Tottenham have been tracking Faye for several weeks and the above-mentioned report claims that Arsenal have now also joined the race, while Italian and German clubs are also monitoring his situation.

Faye sale 'inevitable'

What makes the situation surrounding Faye so interesting is the fact that Barcelona don't know what to do with the 19-year-old. Pau Cubarsi's stunning emergence in recent weeks has completely changed the club's plans for their backline, even leading them to consider selling Jules Kounde.

Faye, it is claimed, could also be sold in the summer to help the cash-strapped Catalans balance the books. Indeed, Mundo Deportivo makes the stunning assertion that a transfer of the Senegal international is 'inevitable.'

Recently it had been claimed that Faye was keen to remain in Catalunya, but this latest report insists that he will push for a move unless he gets a guarantee of senior minutes for the future. This saga will be one to watch in the summer.
