Mourinho tipped to replace Moyes at West Ham
Speculation is mounting that Jose Mourinho could replace David Moyes at West Ham, and at least one Hammers legend would be delighted to see him arrive at London Stadium.
Mourinho has been out of work since January after being sacked by Roma despite leading them to back-to-back European wins, and recently told transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano that he was "ready to start again."
Moyes has looked comfortable at West Ham with a European triumph of his own last season when they won the UEFA Conference League, but any chance of a repeat in the Europa equivalent took a blow on Thursday when they were beaten 2-0 by Bayer Leverkusen.

McAvennie backing
Mourinho is favourite to replace the Scot should he leave, although Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter are reportedly also in the running. Frank McAvennie is clear about who he'd like to see at the helm.
"I'm a big fan of Mourinho - I don't care what anyone says," the former striker, who hit 39 goals in 119 games across two spells with West Ham, told Football Insider. "That guy knows how to win tournaments and win trophies.

"He wasn't good enough for Man United?! He only won the Europa League and the cup! Apparently he was a disaster there - really? I'd love to see him come in.
"He gets criticised for his negative play, but if Mourinho had that team he wouldn't be negative. Anyone can see that the defence needs to be fixed. Mourinho is solid defensively - that's for sure."
Moyes' Conference League triumph last year was West Ham's first major trophy in 42 years, but it is understood he hasn't always seen eye-to-eye with technical director Tim Steidten.
