Arsenal 'done' deal: Zinchenko replacement signed
Ferdi Kadioglu will switch to Arsenal this summer, Turkish media report.
The versatile Fenerbahce star is said to have agreed to a multi-year contract with the London club and will soon sign the deal with Arsenal, claims journalist Devrim Zengi. Dutch side NEC Nijmegen will also stand to benefit from his move.
NEC negotiated a resale percentage during negotiations with Fenerbahce and the Eredivisie side will probably receive a generous amount for the left back. Kadioglu left NEC in 2018 for just €1.4 million and has become something of a sensation in Turkey.

The attacking midfielder moved to the left-back position and impressed so much that he is now a regular fixture in the Turkish national team. The Arnhem-born left-back now has 15 international matches under his belt.
Kadioglu to Arsenal?
The reason for his starting position for Turkey is his excellent development at Fenerbahce. The 24-year-old left-back, who can also play on the right, is an ever-present in the team from Istanbul. Kadioglu has played no fewer than 47 games for the Turkish top club this season, in which he scored three goals and recorded five assists.
Kadioglu's development has not gone unnoticed in the Premier League, where several clubs have been said to be interested. Ultimately, it is Arsenal that won the battle for the left back against clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Bayer Leverkusen.
Kadioglu will be mainly brought in to guard against the possible departure of Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian does not meet Mikel Arteta's requirements and is allowed to leave London, as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers.

Once the deal is completed, a considerable amount of money will flow not just to Istanbul but also to Nijmegen. Kadioglu currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €16.5m and NEC reportedly negotiated a sell-on percentage of at least 10% during negotiations with Fenerbahce.
The people of Nijmegen can therefore expect an amount of at least €1.65m next summer. NEC will probably also receive training compensation.
