Sesko makes transfer decision amid Arsenal and Chelsea interest
RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko appears to be highly interested in a transfer to Milan during the upcoming summer window, amid links to Arsenal and Chelsea.
Indeed, recent reports indicate that Milan has initiated contact with Sesko's representatives. Today, La Gazzetta dello Sport have taken it a step further, with the publication stating that Milan are prepared to put €50 million towards the 20-year-old talent, who has been in exceptional form for Leipzig lately.
It’s thought that Milan executive Giorgio Furlani has already greenlit the move, with the club set to be allocated a healthy budget for summer transfers, potentially bolstered by player sales. It’s believed that Sesko himself is enthusiastic about donning Milan's number nine jersey ahead of next season and is confident in his ability to thrive in Serie A.
Where will Benjamin Sesko move to?
Sesko has also been linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea, but now it appears that the Italian giants have made their interest known. The youngster has been in brimming form for RB Leipzig this year, netting ten and providing two assists in his last 12 matches.
The forward has been linked with a Premier League switch this summer, with his current club well-equipped with Lois Openda leading their front line.
Meanwhile, recent reports have suggested that Sesko's agent has been down in London to speak to a number of sides - though the details of those conversations aren’t clear. But if the reports coming out of Italy are true, then the London sides keen on him may be forced to reconsider their targets.
