The proof that Viktor Gyokeres is Arsenal's chosen striker this summer
Arsenal are looking increasingly likely to go all-in for Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres this summer.
That is according to Jornal De Noticias, who claim that Arsenal scouts have attended almost every Sporting match this season to watch Gyokeres play.
This is perhaps the biggest sign yet that Arsenal have decided that Gyokeres is the chosen one for their attack this summer.

The report adds that Gyokeres is certain to leave Sporting this summer and that, while there is interest from other Premier League clubs, Arsenal are well ahead in the race.
The Gunners consider Gyokeres their ideal striker, ahead of the other names on their attacking shortlist such as Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Gyokeres has a sensational 41 goals in 47 games in all competitions for Portuguese champions Sporting this season.
His 27 league goals means he is certain to finish the season as Primeira Liga top scorer.

Arsenal move for Gyokeres
Arsenal are in the market for a top number nine who can score more goals than current first-choice central striker Gabriel Jesus.

While Jesus has impressed over the last two seasons in his overall play, he has not proved to be prolific enough for a team who wants to win the Premier League and challenge for the Champions League.
Jesus has just 19 goals in 67 appearances for Arsenal, a total that Gyokeres has more than doubled this season alone for Sporting Lisbon.
Gyokeres has a release clause of €100 million in his Sporting contract and it had been initially reported that the Portuguese side would demand this price in order to sell this summer.
However, there have been reports since that Sporting will actually accept bids of far less than that for the Sweden star.
