Chelsea have prioritised the acquisition of the world’s best young talents during Clearlake Capital’s reign as owners and the Blues have agreed a €65 million deal to sign Estevao when he turns 18.

The move has been confirmed by Ferreira, while transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed Chelsea will pay an initial €40m fee, followed by €25m in “easy to reach” add-ons.

The west London club are expected to announce Estevao’s arrival shortly, although he will remain at Palmeiras next season.

Ferreira told reporters (as per Romano): “Endrick to Real Madrid and then Estevão to Chelsea now… in one year!

“I hope Chelsea won’t sign any other player from us, I hope they will let us alone. Please, give us a break.”

According to X account @ChelsTransfer, Ferreira also admitted to ESPN Brasil: “For Chelsea, I'm afraid - no one will leave anymore, not employees, players, coaches, but no one.

“May you leave us here in peace. We want the temptation far away. I just hope Chelsea doesn't take anyone else. I'm even scared!”

Estevao to Chelsea

While they have seemingly wrapped up a deal to sign Estevao - who will become the first player to join the Blues from Palmeiras - Chelsea have also expressed interest in his current team-mate Luis Guilherme.

The 18-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, however Chelsea are keen too. But, Ferreira’s latest comments suggest the Blues are unlikely to land Guilherme.

Estevao, 17, will become one of the world’s most expensive teenagers of all time upon official confirmation of his move to Chelsea. He has made 18 first-team appearances for Palmeiras, scoring three goals.

As for Chelsea, they are currently in the process of hiring a new manager following Mauricio Pochettino’s exit.
