Chelsea’s complete transfer plans have been confirmed by football transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, who has given Blues fans a rundown of what they can expect in the summer.

Over the course of the past two years, Chelsea have been one of the most active clubs in the world on the transfer market, smashing records with their big spending.

This has not translated to success on the field, and following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino and the imminent appointment of Enzo Maresca as their new manager, a whole array of new deals are expected this summer.

Romano has confirmed exactly how the Stamford Bridge’s side shopping list looks, with at least five new players lined up to join the club in addition to wonderkid Willian Estevao, who will arrive at the club next year.

"Chelsea are looking at goalkeepers, Chelsea are looking at centre-backs - could be one, could be two, we will see the movement around [Trevoh] Chalobah in the summer transfer window,” Romano explained via his YouTube channel.

“Chelsea are also looking at other positions, including a central striker, for sure, and wingers. So the Blues will be busy in several positions and keep an eye on new signings with Enzo Maresca now involved in discussions with the board.

“And remember that Chelsea have already the fantastic signing for the future - it's a 'here we go' in this case - of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, who is joining Chelsea in 2025.”

Chelsea's first summer transfers

With Chelsea eyeing numerous signings, it is expected that they will first be forced to make sales so the club can abide by the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations.

It may well be that several players are sold by the Blues in June, with the accounting period closing at the end of the month.

Conor Gallagher is likely to be the highest profile of these players to depart, with Pochettino’s departure at least partly motivated by a clash with the board over the Chelsea academy product’s future.
