England remain top of Group C - and qualification for the last 16 is not in doubt - but they need to beat Slovenia to guarantee finishing top and earning an easier opponent in the knockouts.
The Three Lions are hoping to go one step further in this summer's tournament after coming agonisingly close to ending their trophy drought during the delayed 2020 edition when they lost to Italy in the final on penalties.
Gareth Southgate’s side then exited the 2022 World Cup at the quarter-final stage following a 2-1 loss to France - four years after a semi-final defeat to Croatia and there is a feeling this could be the England manager's last tournament in charge.
England are considered one of the tournament’s favourites after finishing runners-up in 2020.

How England will line up at Euro 2024
England are expected to make three changes from their draw with Denmark.
Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford has been England’s number one goalkeeper since 2018 and he remains Southgate’s first-choice.
Harry Maguire would have been a guaranteed starter for Southgate, however the Manchester United defender missed out on the tournament through injury, meaning Marc Guehi is likely to play once again alongside John Stones at centre-back in a four-man defence.
Kyle Walker will continue at right back against Slovenia but Kieran Trippier could be rested as he carrying a slight calf problem. Joe Gomez is likely to deputise as, while Luke Shaw is back in training the Man Utd man is still not match fit.
Declan Rice will continue as England’s reliable midfield man, but Trent Alexander-Arnold could be dropped as his partner in the centre. Conor Gallacher is likely to take his place.
Further forward, Jude Bellingham has excelled since joining Real Madrid and will be deployed as England’s No.10.
Phil Foden is likely to be dropped as England need more width on the left. Newcastle's Anthony Gordon should come in. Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka will provide the width on the right.
Three Lions captain and Bayern Munich star Harry Kane will lead the line once again despite criticism.
