Ex-Chelsea boss Potter eyed by another Euro giant after Man Utd surprise
AC Milan are considering Graham Potter as a potential coaching option, according to Italian media.
The former Brighton and Chelsea boss remains out of a job after being sacked by the latter last year. Potter has been associated with a host of clubs since his departure from Stamford Bridge but no project has thus far managed to tickle his fancy.
Most recently, the 48-year-old was in talks with Eredivisie giants Ajax over succeeding John van 't Schip in the summer but the negotiations ultimately came to nothing, with Potter feeling that it wasn't the right job for him at this time.

The Englishman has also been frequently associated with Premier League jobs, chief among them the Man Utd one. Erik ten Hag is thought to be under intense pressure after an incredibly underwhelming campaign and his future remains uncertain.
However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently came out with some rather surprising quotes on the Dutchman that will give him hope that he will also be in the Old Trafford dugout next season. With Roberto de Zerbi also available after the shock announcement of his Brighton exit, it seems unlikely that Potter is heading to Man Utd anytime soon.
Potter to Milan?
Instead, he could perhaps be on his way to the warmer climes of Italy. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Potter is one of the names under consideration by AC Milan, who will part ways with Stefano Pioli after the current season.
It is claimed that the Rossoneri are keeping tabs on the former Swansea tactician, but that he is not the priority target for them at this moment in time. Lille coach Paulo Fonseca is the current frontrunner to succeed Pioli.

Argentine coaches Lionel Scaloni and Marcelo Gallardo are also options for the Italian behemoth, with the former already approached by the club. Scaloni, however, would only be available after the Copa America this summer.
