Khephren Thuram could be available for as little as €15 million this summer, according to French media.

The Nice midfielder has endured a difficult season under coach Francesco Farioli. The Italian's style, though mostly effective, has been notoriously bland and Thuram's game has suffered as a result, hampering his creativity and overall ability to contribute.

This term has been quite a significant change from last season when Thuram was one of Ligue 1's most impressive midfielders and earned himself strong links to Liverpool and Man Utd, who are of course now also owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS just like Nice.

Last summer, the 23-year-old snubbed interest from foreign clubs in the Premier League and Juventus, for whom father Lilian played, to remain at Nice, but it is expected that he will be on the move this year.

Thuram a bargain

In fact, according to Nice-Matin, Thuram won't merely leave the Allianz Riviere, he will be a major bargain too. Due to his form this season and the fact that he has just a year left on his contract, the French outlet claims that Nice could settle for as little as €15m-€20m this summer.

This is perfectly aligned with the Frenchman's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV), which currently sits at €19.3m after having suffered a steep decline from €26.8m at the end of last season.

FootballTransfers previously explained that Man Utd would offer the 23-year-old a perfect escape route out of Nice. Given the INEOS links between the Red Devils and Nice and the formers' need to potentially replace several midfielders this summer, a move to Old Trafford appears to be very sensible indeed.

Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Sofyan Amrabat look likely to depart Man Utd in the upcoming transfer window, while Saudi bigwigs will also attempt to sign captain Bruno Fernandes, though the chances of him leaving as well appear slim as things stand.
