The West Ham winger has been one of the signings of this Premier League season. Versatile and deadly - with the exception of his pretty bad dry spell over the winter - the Ghanaian has proved a spectacular acquisition by sporting director Tim Steidten.

The Hammers parted with a sizeable €43 million to prise him away from Ajax in the summer and it is fair to say that it was money well spent, with Kudus notching 13 goals and six assists in all competitions this term.

This form has, naturally, attracted the attention of bigger fish, with Liverpool, in particular, associated with the 23-year-old in recent weeks. Fabrizio Romano has now revealed what would need to happen for West Ham to sell this summer.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Italian transfer expert has claimed that it would require a 'really crazy' offer to test the Hammers' resolve in the upcoming transfer window. Romano reiterated that there is a release clause in Kudus' contract, but that it remains as yet unknown whether it will be active this year.

“I think it has to be a really crazy proposal because West Ham, at the moment, are not commenting about this release clause," Romano said. "Sources guarantee that a release clause is included in his contract, but it is not guaranteed to start this summer. It’s still a tricky situation.”

After all, he witnessed first hand how devastating the attacker can be during his time in the Eredivisie.
