Liverpool ready to reward emerging star with new contract
Liverpool are reportedly determined to keep Jarell Quansah at the club for years to come.
Indeed, according to The Mirror, Quansah will sign a lucrative long-term contract at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old was called upon by manager Jurgen Klopp as a result of an injury crisis.
And the England youth international has certainly delivered, helping the Reds to contend for the Premier League title.

Quansah only signed a new deal last year but that was before he had broken into the first team at Anfield.
He is now set to receive a substantial pay rise as a reward for his fine performances.
The defender is also expected to be an important part of new manager Arne Slot's plans going forward.
Do Liverpool need a new centre-back?
With Joel Matip set to leave Anfield when his contract expires this summer, Liverpool have been heavily linked with a variety of new centre-backs ahead of the window.
Goncalo Inacio, William Pacho, Antonio Silva and Piero Hincapie have all emerged as potential options, with all four players set to cost in excess of €50 million.

However, Liverpool already have Van Dijk’s replacement and Konate’s future partner at the club - in the form of Quansah.
Competition for places is vital, but Quansah has done enough to justify a regular place in the team next season and signing a centre-back willing to play a bit-part role like Matip may be a wise choice in order to prioritise their academy star.
