Man Utd take drastic Bruno Fernandes decision as transfer stance revealed
Manchester United will not allow captain Bruno Fernandes to depart in the summer and are ready to take major action to ensure that the Portuguese international goes nowhere.
Reports broke that Man Utd would be open to selling Bruno earlier this week, with Bayern Munich as well as Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League having an interest in the player.
These were quickly countered by both the 29-year-old Fernandes, who indicated that he wants to stay at Old Trafford, and manager Erik ten Hag, but the doubt over his future nevertheless rumbles on

In a bid to shut down transfer talks, the Red Devils are now set to take concrete action.
According to The Star, Man Utd are poised to offer Fernandes, who is under contract until 2026, a new deal that would include a healthy increase to his €270,000 per week (£230,000) wages.
It is stated: “Bruno has seen the likes of Raphael Varane, Casemiro and Marcus Rashford handed deals worth more than his. He knows his next contract will be the last big one of his career, and holds all the aces when it comes to negotiating with United.”

Will Man Utd sell Bruno Fernandes?
Man Utd are unlikely to sanction any transfer.
CaughtOffside reports: “Man United see their captain as untouchable, while the midfielder’s priority would be to stay at Old Trafford next season.”
Fernandes is seen as “too important” for the Red Devils to sell – one of the few players in Ten Hag’s current squad that enjoy this status after a campaign that could see the Old Trafford outfit miss out on European football.
Bruno has played 46 matches across all competitions for Man Utd this season, scoring 15 goals and generating a further 12 assists. He has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €64.5 million.
