Casemiro, 32, joined the Red Devils for a whopping €70.7 million from Real Madrid in 2022, but Man Utd are now willing to sell him for a reported €35m, according to GOAL Brazil.

Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiya are reportedly leading the race to sign Casemiro and are set to enter into negotiations with the Brazilian this summer.

Al-Nassr are also interested in reuniting Casemiro with his former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, but the presence of ex-Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic means signing Casemiro isn’t deemed a priority.

Casemiro currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €23.4m, which has fallen drastically since he joined Man Utd. The Brazilian was valued at €68.6m just one month before leaving Real Madrid and has seen his ETV slowly drop ever since.

Casemiro to leave Man Utd?

Casemiro enjoyed a fantastic first season in English football as he helped Erik ten Hag’s side win the Carabao Cup and secure Champions League qualification.

However, his form tailed off last season, culminating in a torrid performance against Crystal Palace, in which the Brazilian was dribbled past on seven occasions.

Casemiro then missed Man Utd’s FA Cup final win, with the ex-Real Madrid star removed from the matchday squad due to a reported knock.

However, the Brazilian was “hurt” by Ten Hag’s decision to exclude him from the match at Wembley, according to GOAL, and he reportedly jetted off on holiday with his family rather than join the team’s post-match celebrations.

The 32-year-old has two years left on his current contract with the Red Devils, but Casemiro is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, with a move to Saudi Arabia his most likely next step.
