Man Utd 'make contact' with Real Madrid veteran in SHOCK move
Manchester United have made contact with Joselu, according to a report.
The on-loan Real Madrid striker's future remains in doubt. Loaned from relegated side Espanyol last summer, the Germany-born Spaniard has been hit-and-miss for Los Blancos.
Though he has mostly done what he was brought in for, namely providing a physical presence up top for a team without a recognised number nine, the 34-year-old has also made a habit of missing good chances when in front of the net.

The former Stoke City forward has recorded a respectable but unspectacular 14 goals in 45 appearances for the newly-crowned LaLiga champions this term, but it is still unclear whether Los Blancos will make his loan permanent as he was only signed as a stopgap solution until the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
Joselu is hoping to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu, but it seems he also has admirers elsewhere.
Joselu to Man Utd?
According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Man Utd recently made contact with the veteran's camp regarding a potential move. The Relevo journalist revealed that the Red Devils' hierarchy enquired about the player's availability.
However, it is thought that nothing concrete materialised and that this isn't bound to change anytime soon. It is asserted that Joselu is desperate to stay at Real Madrid and that the contact was nothing more than a tentative enquiry.

Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag has repeatedly admitted that he wants to add another striker to his squad in order to provide cover and potential mentorship for young Rasmus Hojlund. The €74 million summer signing has been good in his debut season for the Premier League giants, but the Dutch coach is desperate to have more options at his disposal.
Recently, Man Utd had been touted as one of the most likely destinations for Brentford star Ivan Toney, but FootballTransfers understands that West Ham and Tottenham are currently leading the race for his signature.
