Man Utd told to sign 'realistic' Premier League pair amid Ten Hag uncertainty
Ex-Manchester United defender Wes Brown has told his former club to strengthen their squad by adding two of the Premier League’s most impressive performers in 2023-24.
The Red Devils face an uncertain summer amid question marks surrounding Erik ten Hag’s future at the club, with several names lined up as possible replacements for the Dutchman.
Kieran McKenna, Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank are reportedly on Man Utd’s managerial shortlist as the Old Trafford club prepare to potentially sack Ten Hag after the FA Cup final.

However, this summer promises to be somewhat of a rebuild at Man Utd regardless of who is in charge.
Raphael Varane has already confirmed his exit, while Anthony Martial and Jonny Evans will also depart when their contracts expire at the end of June. In addition, Casemiro may be sold following his poor form during the 2023-24 campaign.
EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd in pole position to sign Newcastle target Michael Olise
What has been said?
Former Red Devils star Brown believes Man Utd must sign a new centre-back, to replace Varane, and a new right winger, as an upgrade on the underperforming Antony.
He told SportBible: “I'm very realistic and I'm the sort of person that always thinks about you know, who's already done it in the Premier League?
“I think we need some really solid lads from other teams who have done really well. I would say Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, I think he’s exciting. He's got this rawness about him, he doesn't look afraid of anything.”
“And I think the obvious one is someone in defence,” Brown continued. “Jarrad Branthwaite for me, is a young lad and he's still learning, but he's big, strong and quick. And I just feel that he would help out tremendously.”
FootballTransfers understand that Olise and Branthwaite are both priority targets for Man Utd this summer, and we have been informed that the Red Devils are currently in pole position to sign Crystal Palace star Olise.
