Dybala joined the capital club from Juventus in 2022 and to be able to sign the superstar, the Romans had to make some significant concessions. The biggest of these was his release clause. Dybala is available to sides outside of Italy for just €12 million.

This has seen the attacker, who is coming off a very impressive season, linked with a move away in the previous two transfer windows and the upcoming one won't be any different.

Chelsea have often been linked with the Argentine in recent times due to the admiration compatriot Mauricio Pochettino has for the player, but the tactician has now left Stamford Bridge, silencing the rumours. A few years ago, it had been Man Utd who were keen on snapping up Dybala, but no move materialised.

Dybala on Man Utd move

Speaking to The Athletic, Dybala has now revealed that he would love to play in LaLiga or the Premier League one day, and he also opened up about his failed transfer to Old Trafford.

"It would be hard to leave," Dybala said, "but of course, you always have the curiosity and wonder how you would do in leagues as good as La Liga and the Premier League, where there are great teams and great players.”

In 2019, Man Utd had wanted to bring him to England. “That summer, I remember there was an approach from Man Utd as well as Tottenham but it was more Manchester because Juve wanted to make that move.”

"It was the season Juve appointed [Maurizio] Sarri, so I spoke to him to find out if he really didn’t want me on the team. After our chat, my intention was to stay. I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay because I was happy. That was my best year.”
