Fabrizio Romano delivers MAJOR Kvaratskhelia update amid PSG interest
Napoli have got no intention of letting Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leave this summer and intend to tie their superstar winger down to a new contract as soon as possible.
That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who also reveals interest in the Georgia international from Paris Saint-Germain and clubs in the Premier League.
The PSG-linked 23-year-old was outstanding for the Naples side as they stormed to the Serie A title last season and has been in great form this term even though his club’s title defence has been pitiful.
The Partenopei lie EIGHTH in the Italian top flight, having cycled through three different coaches this season.

Rudi Garcia was the underwhelming successor to Luciano Spalletti and he was replaced in November by journeyman coach Walter Mazzarri. However, the former Watford coach was then dismissed in February to be succeeded by Francesco Colzano.
Amid the chaos and the uncertainty though ‘Kvaradona’ has delivered for his side, weighing in with 10 Serie A goals and eight assists to this point.

Despite interest from PL clubs and PSG, Napoli want to keep Kvara as Osimhen is expected to leave — PSG also keen.

He was however reported to be unhappy with the terms of his contract earlier this season. His current terms extend until 2027 and he makes around €1.5 million net per year.
That sum pales in comparison to Victor Osimhen, who commands a €10m salary.
Either a renewal or Kvaradona leaves
Georgian sources indicated that Kvaratskhelia wanted a new contract and, should none come, then he would push to leave the Diego Maradona Stadium this summer.
“Either the contract renewal will materialise or Kvara will go to a top club,” journalist Bacho Tsalugelashvili told 1 Station Radio programme 1 Football Night last week.
Romano now states that Napoli president Di Laurentiis expects the Nigerian international to leave this summer but remains hopeful of tying Kvaratskhelia to a new deal.
Liverpool and Barcelona were also reported to be interested in adding the forward to their ranks but might well be frustrated in their attempts as the Italians secure his future.
