Prolific wonderkid's agent confirms Arsenal interest

The agent of Semih Kilicsoy has confirmed that Arsenal are keeping tabs on his client.

The Besiktas striker enjoyed a real breakout season last term, netting a goal in the Super Lig pretty much every other game despite being just 18. After a haul of 11 goals and three assists in 23 outings, the youngster is hoping to be on the plane to Germany for Euro 2024.

However, his form has not only seen him make his debut for his senior national team but the teenager is also being tracked by Europe's elite. Already linked with the likes of Aston Villa in late 2023, the names associated with Kilicsoy have only become more illustrious in recent months.

Arsenal, Man Utd and Tottenham have all been said to be keeping tabs on him, with the Gunners reportedly particularly keen on the young striker. On the continent, too, Kilicsoy is said to have admirers and this has now been confirmed by his agent.

Speaking to Turkish outlet Sporx, Murat Teber addressed the speculation surrounding his client, revealing that a host of clubs are keen but that no formal offer has as yet been made.

"If an offer has come to Besiktas, I am not aware of it. I know that clubs such as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, PSG, Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart are watching Semih. We received information about this."

"But it has not reached the negotiating stage. At least from the ones who have reached out to us, there is no offer. Semih is a special player at his young age. Therefore, Semih is followed in the five biggest leagues of Europe. Of course, Besiktas' situation is also important here."

"There is more than one factor. Currently, Semih is only concentrating on the national team. We will look at the situation after the European Championship."
