Chelsea in DREAMLAND as Olise edges closer to summer transfer
Chelsea are hoping to push ahead of their rivals to sign Michael Olise this summer and have already made their first moves to try and win the race for the Crystal Palace star.
Palace are resigned to losing Olise this summer, with the 22-year-old keen to leave fro Champions League football and also having a release clause of £60 million (€71m) in his contract.
The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City have all been linked with Olise and the winger’s desire to play in Europe’s premier competition will seemingly give those sides the edge over Chelsea and Manchester United.

But the Daily Mirror report that Chelsea are determined to sign Olise and have already earmarked a slot for the French under-21 international in new manager Enzo Maresca’s squad next season.
The Blues have already made contact with Palace and are hoping that their long-standing interest in Olise will convince the former Reading man to move to Stamford Bridge, although Bayern Munich and Newcastle are also said to have opened talks with Palace this week too.
Chelsea had attempted to sign Olise last summer, having previously had him on their books as a youngster in the academy, but the forward ultimately ended up extending his contract with Palace.
Chelsea looking to add Olise to right-wing repertoire
Olise is one of the most coveted players in the Premier League this summer after providing 16 goal contributions in just 14 starts this season.
Despite missing a large portion of the campaign with injury, Olise returned to form to help Palace’s resurgence under Oliver Glasner, ending the season with three goals and two assists in his last three games.
Chelsea are perhaps inundated with right-wing options, with the likes of Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer and Omari Hutchinson there, along with youngsters Estevao and Kendry Paez joining next summer.

However, Olise’s quality has led to interest from a host of top sides and Chelsea are looking to ensure they don’t let their rivals sign a player who has shown interest in remaining in London and sticking to his roots.
