Anselmino has a release clause worth roughly €23m and while Boca Juniors have insisted he will only leave if that fee is paid, Chelsea are set to test the waters with a slightly lower offer as they look to sign yet another wonderkid.

The Blues have prioritised signing the best youngsters in world football over the past few years and Anselmino is their latest target.

Barcelona’s Marc Guiu is also being pursued, while the west London club have virtually wrapped up a deal to sign Palmeiras’ Estevao in 2025.
